We Know How to Make Learning Fun 

Our Primary School hosts core subjects in the Foundation Phase which include English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and Life skills. Reading and Mathematics skills are taught in small groups where our students are challenged and supported and required to develop essential thinking and reasoning skills.

In addition to our diverse academic programme, we also ensure that the emotional and social well-being of each child is nurtured in our caring and safe environment. We celebrate diversity and make it our aim to ensure that each child and teacher feels included.

A holiday programme is available for the aftercare children – there is no additional charge for a full day holiday programme. However, a small craft fee will be charged to cover the individual crafts
made through the holiday seasons.

Our Educare

Our Educare centre is all about teaching our youngest learners to love learning in a way that is fun, exciting and engaging. We believe in learning by doing and experiencing. The stages of our Educare begin at newborn, infant, toddler, pre-schooler where we prepare the learners to be school age ready. 

 

 Each stage is focused on individually and facilitated by experienced and qualified teachers who are dedicated to ensuring that our learners reach their full potential. Healthy development in the early years provides the building blocks for educational success and we are happy to be a part of that.

Our Primary School

Our primary school takes pride in the academic achievements of our learners from grade 1 to grade 7. Our class sizes ensure that optimal teaching takes place, and each learner is focused on individually. Our curriculum is CAPS based but is altered to our learners needs which is typically designed to provide students with the fundamental skills in reading, writing and mathematics and aims to establish a solid foundation for learning. As we build on the primary education the curriculum becomes more subject orientated as learners learn new skills.

 

Each learner takes part Physical Education lessons, after school sport and either dance or choir. We offer after school extra lessons to learners who feel they need the help and want to improve their results. Each one of our teachers is qualified and passionate about teaching. Our High School

Our High School provides excellent education to learners from Grade 8 to 10 with Grade 11 coming in 2025 and Grade 12 coming in 2026. Rising Stars Academy opened their first High School Class in 2022 and has gone from strength to strength. We strive to achieve success and encourage learners to excel to the best of their abilities. Our teachers are committed to providing learners with the best education and accommodate each learners’ individual needs. The FET Phase offers Business Studies, Engineering Graphics and Design, Accounting and Computer Applications Technology, and is focused on providing learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their dreams.
